Larch, with its decidedly unique ability to highlight a wide variety of interior designs, combines liveliness and color with warmth. Larch, pictured at here, is perhaps best known as the only coniferous tree to shed its needles in the fall. Incorporating some 10 species around the world, European larch is indigenous to Central Europe. Larch has a high content of resin, which makes the timber very resistant to rotting. This has led to its use for boat construction, ground poles, bridges, and outdoor furniture.
