Nordic Pine Flooring:
Around the world, there are more than 90 different pine species. The one used for Rappgo's Nordic pine is the Scots pine (Pinus silvestris) which grows commonly throughout Sweden. The Scots pine can reach heights of over 100 feet. At the time of harvest, diameters vary from 10 to 20 inches.

In Sweden, the Scots pine is the most widely used species for furniture and construction. Applications are numerous for this evergreen: joists, roof trusses, doors, windows, and of course flooring and interior design. Today, as it did when Rappgo started its flooring production over 30 years ago, the Nordic pine continues to be in the forefront.
