Excellent Product
We used the color samples to stain a desk top and 2 small bookshelves. The coverage was as stated and the stain is beautiful. The best feature of this product is the lack of VOCs. I am extremely chemically sensitive and this product had very little to no smell to it. We will definitely be using their products again.
Overpriced
Very small samples. Overpriced.
Dave, sorry you were disappointed in the size of the samples. The samples are 20 ml bottles, which cover an average of +/- 5 s.f. with one application.
Color sample: Ice Brown
I used one of the two sample bottles of Ice Brown to finish a 14x34 Live Edge Maple slab to be used as a table top on an existing living room bookcase in our camp in Vermont.
I found it easy to use and wipe off to bring me the color I wanted.
The top has a very nice subtle satin shine that looks as if no finish was applied.
This is a definite 5 Star product.
I will certainly use Rubio Monocoat finishes from now on.
Worked Great
This product was recommended to me by a friend who recently discovered it. He raved about how well it works and how easy it is to apply. I really like his finishing style and wanted my project look like his, so I got some to try. I got the raw wood cleaner and Pure (sample size). I used it on walnut. A little bit went a long way. My project looks great and I will absolutely use it again.

As an Interior Designer I love the product and outcome...but its almost impossible to effectively use your website! We need photos, lots of photos, customer photos, professional photos, monocoat photos, ALL the pictures we can get. Completed projects. Rubio, you really must give your customers much better photos of color samples on different types of wood. Big, high rez images that we can work from. Samples are great, but even with small samples on scrap wood on hand, its not the same as seeing finished products. Want to sell more product? Then help us buy and use it! Thanks,

Hopefully this will help. Of course there are differences in devices and computer displays that make it impossible to know exactly how it will look, but we hope this gives a more accurate representation for our customers.
Used on Floors-curious about the live edge application

So easy to use. A little goes a little big way. No smell at all. Used on a live edge bar top. Hoping that after it cures it will be water resistant but time will tell.

i love this product so much! my husband and i did our our red oak floors in pure and our office parquet floor in emerald, which impresses everyone that comes over. even people that hate parquet love our floor. that was 5 years ago and still looks great. we've used on trim, transitions, our floating shelf in the kitchen and i even stripped a room of knotty pine paneling and then used pure and it's beautiful. seriously the best and so easy to use!
